This option is available to employees of companies that have an RTO service agreement in place with Performance Training Pty Ltd.

Interesting Fact: Queensland Guidance Note 14 (QGN14) - Effective Safety and Health Supervision, states that authority of a supervisor extends to all workers within their designated area of the mine, regardless of whether they are employees of the company or contractors. This means that an employee coal mine supervisor has the power to issue instructions, enforce safety protocols, and manage work activities for both directly employed and contracted workers.

The Queensland Mines Inspectorate released a Safety Alert in 2008 directing coal mines to include sufficient senior positions within their management structure (including supporting competencies) to help contractors adhere to the mine's Safety and Health Management System.

The NSW Department of Primary Industries released a Contractor Management Audit Checklist to assist workplaces review their contractor management processes.
